Loved it! Would come back again.

I enjoyed having Netflix and the televisions in my room. I also really liked the facilities and the view of the city.

It was a bit confusing to get to the property. I wasn't quite sure of which door or entrance to take, and we had to wait for someone to come get us.

Probably the best hotel I've stayed in, in terms of bang for your buck. Brilliant view. The staff and hotel clearly go out of their way to be the highest-ranking hotel in Kaohsiung and they totally deserve it.

English level could have been better. Even though I can speak Chinese, I think some international guests will be limited by the language barrier.

Great location, close to the MRT and LRT. The VIP lounge area with free drinks and snacks was good and it was great to have free laundry facilities. Nice views from the outside area as well.

Great value for only a marginal fee.

Amazing staff, super friendly and always eager to help, utilizing the full advantage of a petit B&B and making you feel like home even when you’re not. The room we’ve got is the port side and the view is phenomenal, waking up to a panorama of a prosperous and leisure seaside is truly a spectacular experience. Definitely loved it.

The building where Sam’s House is located is somewhat washed out and the interior structure of the megastructure is puzzling for anyone who’s never been here before.

The stay had probably one of the best locations in Kaohsiung, being situated on the 31st floor of the 85 SkyTower. The view of the entire harbor, cijin Island and half of the city was amazing and the tower lies very conveniently in the heart of the city. The room had a laptop connected to a full surround system and had more facilities than any other stay we had been up until then. The stay gave us access to a lounge near the lobby of the tower, with access to free coffee, tea, lemonade and other finger foods for free. It also provided washing machines and laptops/tablets for leisure. Overall one of the, if not the best stay in Kaohsiung which we have had, especially for the money. Its easily worth double the paid amount.

In addition to the beautiful location inside 85, the room was incredible. It was spacious and had many amenities. We particularly enjoyed the projectors as well as the bathtub with a screen attached. The host of the hotel also truly made the stay. He's one of the most friendly and hospitable people we've met here in Taiwan. Highly recommend staying here. This was our second time staying here and our expectations were once again exceeded.

A strange location leaves you feeling like you've wandered into a horror movie. But it's just a unique setup. Spotlessly clean, bright and nice.

If you can't figure out the shower, you need to turn the WHOLE TAP to the right to change the water. Took us way too long to figure out. Perhaps signs in 2-3 languages

High CP value comfort

This place is awesome. It you have the money to splurge definitely choose this place. Room was spacious and had modern facilities. The room was always clean and the staff provides toiletries. There's free laundry too in case you need it. The view was amazing too, my room had city view but still overlooking the bay and piers. The location is great, just a short walk from the MRT and lots of restaurants and places to eat nearby. There's also a supermarket close and 7-11/Family Mart. Thankyou so much to our lovely staff lady who helped us all the weekend, I hope to stay again here soon!

Best Place To Stay In Kaohsiung For A Good Price

Everything was perfect. The staff were just amazing! Whatever we needed they helped with such ease. They were super accommodating. The rooms with the sea views are well worth the extra bit of money. It felt like a home away from home honestly. Perfect spot, comfy, state of the art entertainment systems in the rooms, comfy bed and couch, all clean. Just 10 out of 10. We got a free upgrade near the end of our stay and it was lovely, the room was really amazing.

The staff were wonderful, and always available if we had any questions about the room or the area. The location was central and close to a number of local markets and some good coffee shops.

Exceed Expectation!

The customer service is amazing - upon arrival, the customer service staff ensured that you are well-orientated before personally bringing you up to the room itself. The staff also took the initiative to highlight places of interest, and gave really detailed and amazing suggestions for our trip in Kaohsiung. The room itself is amazing - in reality it looks better than the pictures displayed. The bed was amazing and comfortable too - took us a while to wake up in the mornings! Oh, and the room comes with 2 TVs - one near the bed and another at the common area. The amenities in the room were excellent too - great place, great value for money!
